The Portal «carreirasOnline.com» wants to be a reference for job advertising in the areas of Information Systems and Technology (IST), Human Resources (HR), Engineering (EN) and Economics / Management (FI) in Portugal.
Thus the portal «carreirasOnline.com» is composed by the following sub-portals:

  1. Portal «TI» is devoted to job vacancies in the area of Information Systems and Technology;
  2. Portal «RH» is devoted to job vacancies in the area of Human Resources;
  3. Portal «EN» is devoted to job vacancies in the area of Engineering;
  4. Portal «FI» is devoted to job vacancies in the area of Economics / Management.
  5. Portal «MA» is devoted to job vacancies in the area of Sales & Marketing.

The Portal «advertisers», is exclusively dedicated to recruiters and employers.

2. Who is this portal for?

At present, to all those who seek employment in the areas of Information Systems and Technology (IST), Human Resources (HR), Engineering (EN), Economics / Management (FI) and Sales & Marketing (MA).
In the near future, the portal «carreirasOnline.com» will include other sections, enlarging the range of stakeholders.

3. Who can advertise job vacancies on this portal?

The portal «carreirasOnline.com» is strongly committed to ensuring the reliability of its ads. So, only records whose email addresses are from recognized companies/recruiters will be accepted. Any registration with an «unidentifiable» email (for example, @google.com, @sapo.pt, @yahoo.com, etc.). will be potentially rejected.

4. Can I advertise job vacancies without revealing my company / institution?

Yes. If the advertiser (already registered) intends to maintain the anonymity of his ads, he has always the ability to classify his job vacancies as «anonymous», thus ensuring the total anonymity of the ad (the company associated with the ad will not be disclosed).
The advertiser's email will not be disclosed in published job vacancies. The way of contact should be specified in the «body» of the ad, by the advertiser, which may specify an email different from its registration.

5. Is my email address revealed?

No. Under any circumstances the advertisers' email will be disclosed.
The way of contact / response must be specified in the ads by the own advertiser.

6. How to advertise job vacancies on the portal?

After validating the registration, advertisers can log in to the portal and have a management panel to manage their job vacancies. This panel allows to manage advertiser's ads (create new ads, delete ads, correct existing ones, etc.). The management of ads is done in real time, that is, after the creation of a new ad, it will immediately be available on the portal.

7. How long do job vacancies remain on the portal?

Thirty days. When an advertiser create a new job vacancy, it will be visible for thirty days. However, through the management panel, the advertiser can extend its validity for more 30 days. Similarly, the advertiser can «expire» the ad immediately, making it «not visible» on the portal.

8. What is the cost associated with this service?

None. There is no cost associated with this service, it is totally free of charge.

9. As an advertiser can I advertise my services in the company's sheet?

Yes. In company's sheet, the field "Description / Services" is the only place where advertisers can publicize their services. It is not allowed to publish advertisements of services in ads for job openings.

10. How does the logo of my company appears on the main page of the portal?

The logos of the main page (of each sub-portal) are displayed automatically without any interference from us. According to the date of each ad, the first 10 companies with older ads are displayed. This was the way we found to promote, fairly as possible, the advertisers.
